Penarth Pier long exposure

      

Pentax K3ii & DA* 16-50mm @ 22mm
2 and a half minutes, f10, ISO 100

My outfit: K5 gripped - Sigma 17-70mm - Sigma 105mm - Pentax 18-55mm WR - Tamron 70-300mm - Pentax F 50mm f1.7 - Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 - Metz 48 AF1 - 2 x Cactus V2 triggers - Fully portable mobile studio and some mobile strobist studio stuff !

Penarth Pier long exposure

      

F10!!! That is a very good aperture Gareth, I don't think I have ever used F10 before, now I really have to try it :)

Wow, that is a very miiiiiilky sea.Its turned to pure goo. I'm sure that is going to be the 'marmite' element here. It's too gooey for me, but I do love the sky, which is a perfect mix of smoothness and depth. The pier is crystal clear, but the halo around the building is too obvious. Lovely toning and mono work.

This image is giving me the Heebie Jeebies compared the warmth of the colour offerings.

Richard, you haven't got time to be looking at photos, you're supposed to be practising balancing flash and ambient lighting!

Shame it's only 800 wide.

did you mean to re-edit to remove the light halo around the centre buildings? if so it's still there.?

When I re-edited it, I removed all the brush adjustments from over the piers huts so there isn't any editing on or over them? Weird!
