One for the shoe fetishists with the 645z

Still building my portfolio and getting a reputation at the same time. Sadly this is a reputation I can do without. It's interesting to see the looks you get when you ask your niece if you can borrow her shoes

I did have to promise that I wouldn't wear them :)

Taken with the 645Z and 75mm @ ISO100, 1/125 and f16 . One strobe with large softbox above, another to camera left, snooted to highlight the rear edge of the shoes and the thrdr down on the floor with red gel to create the background colour and gradient. Minimal PP in LR and PS just to remove dust specs and tweak some bits of the shoes to remove the 'worn' look.

I am pretty impressed with these shots generally and don't have anything to add being of smaller brain and little knowledge.
I was amazed at the effort required to get a decent product shot.

But could I suggest that maybe the background colour and the shoe to the left clashes?
Also that the black shoe is lost against the black base.

I like the reflection it gives on the red and white shoe though.
(I also wouldn't have the faintest idea of how to achieve anything this good)

Black no opaque perspex :)

Really like this, the gradient is ace!

The black shoe to me looks a little odd as the other 2 have a great reflection that makes them sit nicely and look natural but the black has a slight 'fake' ook to it, like it was dropped in afterwards due to the reflection difference.
