a member of Hutton & Shenfield Rotary Club who owned a Newsagent's Shop with Wife told me proudly " I've got a ROLLEIFLEX now" from Peter White, Chief Photographer of the 'Romford Recorder' -- " OK -- If you want I'll clean it an check it up for you free" I offered -- but he would never let me see the Famous Rollei -- Months later he DIED -- Widow phoned me up "Peter if you are interested I have some Old Photography stuff you and your Boy can have" - so we rushed to the shop and Widow brought out a huge DUSTY box -- I cringed, thinking how we would get told off by Wife " Bringing another lot of other people's RUBBISH home all dirty" -- but had a look -- inside was a mint OM-2n + extra lens, 2 XA 2's in Presentation Boxes, odd stuff, further down in the dust was a leather case containing the Infamous ROLLEI !! Taking lens was scratched and base-plate pin broken off and focus lever stiff, shutter slow. NOW it is all Sweetly Running after the service. Here are a few snaps taken after the CLA on outdated 06/1997 T-Max 100 fillum ---
