It's a slow, slow process but the studio is slowly emerging from, what was, the garage. I thought some of you might be interested in how it's looking.

This shows where the end wall was demolished to allow for the 'connection' to the house (on the right).

This is the view along the rear wall. On the left, in the far corner, will be a small bathroom with a toilet and shower. There will also be a sink and a few kitchen units. there will be a door through into the house and there will be a front door where the gate is.

The ceiling is being modified to give me 3.4m headroom. When its finished it will give me a 400 sq ft shooting area.

I'll drop in with updates as it get closer to completion.

Of course everyone needs a noom, what did you do with your noom taday?

Actually "noom" may well be an efficacious dialectic diversion to enable Secret Smeggy to avoid telling us what he does with his "studio".

Okay! I give up  What does noom mean?

So far I've discovered that it means "To cause something to explode violently, especially orders of magnitude higher than intended." (Urban dictionary) or it stands for: New Organisms and Other Matters or Number of Overridden Methods.

None of these seem to be relevant to what Smeggy might do in a garage studio unless he is into the application of organic high explosives to bypass mechanical or electrical systems!

A noom is a room you go into at 12 O'clock after moving out of the morning room :thumb:
