A Q of scale

Way to go, bring even more negativity to this thread, thanks a lot for that. :thumb:

PS: I was not offended in the least, only disappointed.

A Q of scale

Hey Steve,
this is for you
and all of us
who appreciate
the lovely
diminutive
Pentax Q.

We may, or may not, enjoy the presenters' particular style, but there's no denying their enthusiasm for the Q

Here shown next to a 2.5" laptop HardDrive and marker pen. Get it? It's small! :cool1:

Damn that's small. I figured that would be a full sized desktop HDD, but half the size of a laptop HDD?!!

A Q of scale

Update:

Managed to get the 06 lens but it came together with a Q10 and a 02 lens as well.

Now I have 2 bodies; Q and Q10 and 2 x 02 lenses, a 01 lens and a 06 lens.

A Q of scale

Would have hung on to the one I bought if it hadn't have lost the date every time the battery was charged which apparantly is a common fault.

I had the same problem with both my bodies, I activated the factory reset, which admittedly was a pain, as then had to reset all the functions to my own preferences, :( however both bodies don't lose charge now when I change the battery. :)
Prior to this, I did find it was better to allow the battery to run out and then swap, rather than swap batteries when the indicator was looking low.

A Q of scale

Factory reset has no effect on the camera's ability to save the date/time settings between battery changes. These details are retained by an internal CMOS battery which when dies is the reason for the date/time loss. It has been a common [Pentax] fault on more than just the Q

A Q of scale

I have experience of this problem on Q, Q7, and K-01, but found I was able to get round it by swapping low for freshly charged battery quickly rather than waiting for it to deplete completely and leaving the camera without a battery when charging - of course you'll need a spare battery, but that's almost essential anyway with either of these cameras.

Yeh, I tried that with the K-01, I had several batteries but I was never quick enough. Always had tor reset the date. I got pretty quick at that though :D
