Seeing as I am on a bit of a macro trip at the min, here are a few more from today.
K3ii, 3 tubes, 105mm macro, ringflash, homemade diffuser, handheld, ovf.

weirdly not sharp but sharp ?

Yep, the Rose shot is the only one that does anything for me too.
While I find macro images a curiosity, I don't find them very inspiring. Perhaps because generally speaking photography began as [and still is in general terms] a way to record things, people and events in our lives which we see at [our] normal life scale.

Cheers guys. I know that macro isn't for everyone, for me, I find the detail fascinating. That there is some weird and wonderful detail that we walk by everyday that cant be seen by the naked eye.

I love them.
Like yourself, I find it amazing that we can see so much that is invisible by the naked eye.

I can see why people are not interested as well.
But I love em.
