Triple Port Please

Three images of a bottle of Port my wife bought me some time ago but hadn't opened until a couple of nights ago.

I've never had a bottle of Port that didn't have a stopper, so it was quite a novelty de-canting it - and Oh Boy, is it worth it :thumb:

Triple Port Please

When I first saw these pictures a few days ago it reminded me that I haven't had port for months and we have a bottle that is crying out to be opened :)

Sometimes it's the detail in a picture that grabs my attention and in this case it is the light reflecting on the decanter in the third picture, in particular the yellow and red vertical light against the darkness of the port. Now whether I would have spotted this myself had I taken the picture, and been able to make something of it is another matter. I suspect that quite a lot of the port would have been enjoyed whilst I spent time taking and re-taking the picture ...

Nigel.

Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.

A collection of manual primes to keep me in touch with the pleasures of doing it old-school.
